This round it was back to Clyde Iron (the site of the very first dinner club gathering,) 2920 W Michigan St. in Duluth. Where there were only 7 of us this time (as compared to 15 before,) we made up for it with vibrant conversation and a lot of laughs.
The establishment was fairly busy on a summer Tuesday evening when we arrived at 6:00 p.m., and there were quite a few people who came to hear the bluegrass band, but by the time we left at 8:30, we had the restaurant pretty much to ourselves. The plus side of this is that it looks like a place where you can drop in and not have to worry too much about a wait.

Comments:
Loved the crabcake sandwich special. Fries are OK, but I've had better
I think I would have liked the sausage and pepperoni stromboli better than the steak. The steak had plenty of fillings with the shaved prime rib, onions, peppers, and cheese, but it lacked a bold taste. The marinara sauce accompanying lacked the zesty flavor I prefer, which compounded the bland nature of the dish.
PS: We need to get into a routine of taking pictures!!!!!!! :)
